The idea for this product dates back to 1999, when Toasting Agency's exhibition >>The Haircut of the Month<< asked artists to create a haircut to be given over the course of a month in a hair salon in Paris. BLESS proposed not a haircut, but a hairbrush in which long-haired people could preserve their cut hair and turn it into a personal memorial object instead.
