The Hopontop-Sight chair was presented in 2025 at Phileas in Vienna as a creation of a site-specific intervention by BLESS. An additional armrest invites a person to take a seat at the side.The situation design developed for Phileas focuses on the organization itself, exploring its function as an intermediary office and a place for encounters and exchange. Through targeted interventions in the daily office routine and furnishings, the theme of approach is taken literally, examining the limits of possible intimacy. The title refers to the passenger, looking over the shoulder of the person driving, thus occupying a position between observation and participation, spectator and fellow traveler.
